We’re a small leather workshop based in Hanoi, Vietnam, where every stitch is done by hand by Tan, our craftsman and founder. Each strap is made to order, crafted from premium exotic leathers — crocodile, ostrich, or lizard — selected for their texture, character, and durability.

Our Story

Tan started crafting leather goods in 2014 with a simple belief — that true craftsmanship takes time. What began as a hobby slowly turned into a passion, and today, every strap we make carries that same patience and dedication.

In 2024, we launched Made by Tan, our brand built around a single idea: combining traditional craftsmanship with timeless design. Every piece is still made in our small Hanoi studio — slowly, carefully, and with purpose.

What We Do

We specialize in handcrafted watch straps and small leather accessories. Each strap is:

  • Cut from farm‑raised exotic leather (French crocodile, ostrich leg, or lizard)

  • Lined with Zermatt leather for comfort and sweat resistance

  • Reinforced with Velodon for lasting structure

  • Hand‑stitched with waxed linen thread

  • Finished with a quick‑release spring bar ready to wear
